EDUCATION
- Providing educational seminars, workshops, guest speakers, and platform artists
- Access to a current industry related video library
INFORMATION
- Liaison concerning government legislation of certification, apprenticeship, trade advisory committee, and examinations
- Bi-monthly newsletters containing current industry and activity updates
- Sharing of information regarding certification, salon management, and chair rental. All provided with the strictest of confidentiality
- Providing opportunity to network and share valuable information and creative solutions with fellow professionals
INVOLVEMENT AND PARTICIPATION
- Work with the Allied Beauty Association to organize and manage hairstyling competitions
- Participation in promotional and community oriented projects such as the 1999 Pan American Games, Charity Golf Tournaments, Cutathons, the Kidney Foundation, and CancerCare Manitoba
